FAQ - Membership Pause
What reasons are accepted for a membership pause?
Common reasons include injury, illness, work commitments, travel, or other exceptional circumstances. Supporting documentation may be required in some cases
Do I pay anything while my membership is on hold?
No. To keep our memberships fair, honest and transparent we do not charge members any fees while the membership is on hold
What happens when my pause ends?
Your membership will automatically reactivate on the agreed return date, and your regular direct debits will resume. There’s nothing further you need to do
How long can I pause my membership?
Membership pauses are available for a limited period as outlined in your membership agreement. If you require a longer pause, please contact us to discuss your circumstances.
How long before the membership is placed on hold
Allow 3 business days to process the request. We need this time for our gym software to process the direct debit dates in accordance with your allocated start date
How much notice do you require to pause my membership?
We ask that you provide 3 weeks notice period for pausing a membership. This helps the gym account for student numbers and mate space
Can I Extend a Pause Period?
Yes, a pause period can be extended. A new form must be completed to extend a pause on a membership. Extensions are subject to approval. Please read terms and conditions for details on cancellations if required and refer to our member cancellation link
Can I still attend classes while my membership is paused?
No. Unfortuntely membership benefits, including access to classes, are suspended during the approved pause period. It is important to remember any injuries sustained if a member trains while a membership is paused is not covered under our insurance policy
